As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
  1. There are some books such as Sharḥ Ụqūd Rasm al-Muftī that are studied everywhere but, in general, the curriculum will vary from institute to institute. An example of a very thorough curriculum can be found here and here.
  2. Through studying the course, it is first and foremost hoped that inshā Allāh, the student will gain Allāh’s pleasure. Thereafter, they will inshā Allāh learn how to research and answer questions presented to them. It is extremely important to remain under the supervision of one’s teachers after graduation as well.
